Vatican: Jubilee Canonizations of Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati

The Church will welcome some very well-known Catholics into the ranks of the saints during this Jubilee Year, like Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati. We were able to explore the halls of the Vatican's Office for Saints and speak with Cardinal Marcello Semeraro to learn about the process leading to sainthood.

As we celebrated the 12th anniversary of Pope Francis' pontificate, our journalist Rudolf Gehrig looks back at the many men and women the Pope has canonized, the most in history, and his constant call that we all embrace everyday sanctity.

The Holy Father, in the context of the Jubilee of Volunteers, voiced his gratitude for the service and care he is experiencing during his hospitalization and he encouraged all of us to use Lent as a new beginning.

Pope Francis also sent a message to Italy's pro-life movement as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Inside Vatican walls, our senior Rome correspondent Hannah Brockhaus shows the great work of the "School of Arts and Crafts," instructed and trained by the Fabbrica di San Pietro, responsible for the maintenance and repairs of Vatican's papal basilica.

Please join us in prayer for Pope Francis during his hospitalization.
