EWTN Summer Academy

Join us in Rome

The EWTN Vatican Bureau invites you to Rome, the heart of the Catholic Church, for the 2024 Summer Academy.

By participating in the Summer Academy you will learn from accomplished media professionals, as well as top academics and Church leaders. It will be an opportunity for you to practice and strengthen your journalistic, video-editing, and storytelling skills.

Who is eligible?

The Academy is open to students and young professionals, aged 21 to 35. Prior experience in content creation is preferred, but not required. This includes professional experience or an educational background in journalism, film, media, communications, or other related fields. The language of instruction is English; a high level of proficiency is required.

Where and when?

The EWTN Summer Academy will run from June 17-27, 2024. Participants will reside and work at the CIAM, the International Center for Mission and Formation, on the campus of the Pontifical Urban University. Located just a few minutes from the Vatican, this venue offers an unrivaled view overlooking St. Peter’s Basilica.

The Summer Academy is free of charge. Accommodations and full-board, as well as travel stipends will be provided for academy participants.

Space, however, is limited. There are only 45 spots available for the most qualified applicants from around the globe. We invite you to submit your application to join the next generation of Catholic journalists and the EWTN Alumni network.

Applications are open until March 10th!

We look forward to seeing you in Rome next summer!
